Dave Zajac, Record-Journal Advertisement May 02, 2021 03:49PM By Lauren Takores, Record-Journal staff WALLINGFORD — The Town Council recently reviewed the police and fire departments’ budget proposals for 2021-22, and staffing issues were at the forefront of the discussions. Police Chief William Wright, Acting Fire Chief Joseph Czentnar and Deputy Fire Chief Sam Wilson answered questions from the council and the public at a budget workshop Thursday evening. The council has one more budget workshop scheduled for Tuesday, and a meeting for motions on modifications to Mayor William W. Dickinson’s budget scheduled for Thursday. The budget vote is slated for May 11.
