Waterloo Regional Police say a 52-year-old teacher from a senior public school in Kitchener, Ont., has been charged in connection to reports of several youth being sexually assaulted by a male suspect.
A new mural has been unveiled at Kitchener’s Victoria Park Pavilion, with the artwork created by a youth Indigenous program in collaboration with Family and Children’s Services of Waterloo Region.
The woman was charged with two counts of assault in November after an investigation into “allegations she taped two children with masking tape while in the classroom,” Waterloo regional police said at the time.
