The first core module for China’s new space station has been successfully launched. China’s proud space station project begins with a move to challenge the United States, a space power. The main part of the space station is now launched. The launch took place from a Chinese island.
It seeks to reflect China, global standards and emerging technological power, following in the footsteps of the United States, Russia and Europe. The Chinese budget allocates billions of dollars for space exploration.
The Tiangong space station is expected to be completed by the end of 2022. The Long-March 5B rocket is equipped with life support equipment and space for astronauts.

BEIJING: China launched the first module of its “Heavenly Palace” space station on Thursday, a milestone in Beijing’s ambitious plan to establish a permanent human presence in space.
Billions of dollars have been poured into space exploration as China seeks to reflect its rising global stature and growing technological might, following in the footsteps of the United States, Russia and Europe.
The Tianhe core module, which houses life support equipment and a living space for astronauts, was launched from Wenchang in China’s tropical Hainan province on a Long-March 5B rocket on Thursday, state television showed.
