The Indian Embassy in China held its first interactive session with 80 Indian students from over 13 Chinese universities who suffered the most during the three-year COVID-19 period. The meeting, attended by Indian Ambassador to China Pradeep Kumar Rawat and Counsellor Nitinjeet Singh, heard their grievances and experiences. The number of Indian students studying medicine in Chinese universities has decreased to around 10,000 across China. The Indian Embassy actively pursued with China to permit the early return of students, but advised them to remain cautious and disciplined.

A Reuters review of hundreds of tender documents shows 10 Chinese entities acquired advanced Nvidia chips embedded in server products made by Super Micro Computer Inc., Dell Technologies Inc. and Taiwan's Gigabyte Technology Co Ltd after the U.S. on Nov. 17 expanded the embargo to subject more chips and countries to licensing rules. Specifically, the servers contained some of Nvidia's most advanced chips, according to the previously unreported tenders fulfilled between Nov. 20 and Feb. 28.
