Major global stock markets were mostly lower Tuesday after Wall Street retreated from record highs. London and Frankfurt opened lower, while Shanghai and Tokyo also declined. Hong Kong and Seoul advanced. Wall Street futures gained a day after the benchmark S&P 500 index lost 0.5% on declines for tech, bank and energy stocks.
