The Lincoln softball team dropped both games against the Missouri Western Griffons on Saturday at Battle High School. The Griffons jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the top of the first inning in Game 1 after a single and hit by pitch led off the game and came around to score on an RBI double by Emma Hofart and an RBI single from Maddie Swanson.

The Lincoln softball team lost two games Saturday, both by scores of 8-0 in six innings, to the Fort Hays State Tigers in MIAA play.

CLAREMORE, Okla. — The Lincoln softball team lost 11-0 and 7-0 in Friday’s MIAA doubleheader against nationally ranked Rogers State.

The Lincoln Blue Tigers dropped a doubleheader Tuesday to the Missouri S&T Miners.

It was a good news, bad news afternoon for the Lincoln softball team’s offense. The good news was during the 14 innings played Saturday, the Blue Tigers only went down in order twice. The bad news was Lincoln left 23 runners on base, scoring just five runs in its MIAA doubleheader against the Emporia State Hornets at Vogel Field.

The Lincoln softball team dropped both games in an MIAA doubleheader Friday, falling to the Washburn Ichabods 2-1 in Game 1 and 12-0 in five innings in Game 2 at Battle High School.

With the snow melting from last week’s winter storm, the Lincoln softball team took advantage of the warmer weather to prepare for the start of the season. The players hope the warmer weather is here to stay, but in the meantime, they headed south for the season opener.
