The show in the false claim was aired in July 2020 -- years before Yoon's visit -- and did not make reference to his remarks. The false claim surfaced ahead of the country's legislative election on April 10, 2024.

The rankings were determined through an analysis of the consumer participation, media coverage, interaction, and community awareness indexes of 50 popular entertainers, using big data collected from April 1 to May 1.
Yoo Jae Suk successfully defended his position at the top of the list this month with a brand reputation index of 2,118,591, marking a modest 6.51 percent increase in his score since April.
High-ranking phrases in Yoo Jae Suk’s keyword analysis included “Come Back Home,” “You Quiz,” and “MSG Wannabe,” while his highest-ranking related terms included “put into practice,” “confess,” and “donate.” The star’s positivity-negativity analysis also revealed a score of 83.55 percent positive reactions.

“Trending actor” Kim Seon-ho and “2 Days & 1 Night,” the Korean variety show he is part of, won at the 2020 KBS Entertainment Awards held on Dec. 24.
Kim Seon-ho took home the Rookie Award for Show and Variety for “2 Days & 1 Night,” which won the Viewer’s Choice for Program of the Year. He became a regular cast member in season 4 of “2 Days & 1 Night,” which started airing on KBS in December last year. Kim Seon-ho previously won the Best Emotive Award at the Asia Artist Awards 2020.
On December 24, KBS honored the variety stars and programs who lit up the network and brought viewers some much-needed laughter over the past year!
At the 2020 KBS Entertainment Awards, the network’s annual celebration of its greatest achievements in variety programming and entertainment, comedienne Kim Sook took home this year’s Daesang (Grand Prize).
Kim Sook, who became the second woman in KBS history ever to win the Daesang (Kim Young Ja was the first in 2018), teared up on stage as she accepted her award.
“Thank you so, so much to KBS for giving me such a huge award,” said the visibly emotional Kim Sook. “Actually, when I was standing on stage earlier, I thought to myself that this is where I received my very first award exactly 25 years ago, when I first became a [comedian at KBS]. So I’m extremely grateful to be receiving this huge award here 25 years later.”
On December 19, SBS’s variety show stars celebrated each other and their programs at the 2020 SBS Entertainment Awards. The ceremony, which was hosted by Lee Seung Gi, Shin Dong Yup, and ASTRO’s Cha Eun Woo, took place with COVID-19 restrictions in place, such as not holding a red carpet event, having attendees wear masks in the audience, setting up plastic barriers between attendees, and handing out awards with minimal hand-to-hand contact.
The Daesang (Grand Prize) this year went to Kim Jong Kook, who is a fixed cast member on “Running Man,” which celebrated its 10th anniversary this year, and “My Ugly Duckling,” where he opened up about his healthy living habits and his thoughts on dating and marriage. This is his first Daesang at an Entertainment Awards, although he has won multiple times as a singer.
