A 15-year-old girl was set on fire allegedly for resisting her cousin s attempted to rape her on Wednesday.
According to the police report, the suspect set his cousin’s clothes on fire. As a result, both legs of the victim were badly burnt.
Rescue 1122 personnel rushed her to a hospital after providing her initial medical aid.
A case regarding the incident was lodged by a widow, Saira Asad. She stated that she had gone out for some work when the suspect, Wasim, who was her close relative, found her 15-year-old daughter alone in the house and tried to rape her.

Police had registered a case against the suspect and started searching for him.
According to the police report, a six-year-old boy, the son of Ghulam Abbas, a resident of Sohailabad, was playing in the street when he was approached by his neighbor identified as Muneeb, the son of Bashir, who took him to an unknown location and sexually assaulted him.
The minor boy made noise which caught the attention of nearby people. As a result, the suspect fled from the crime scene. D-Type Colony police registered a case under section 377 PPC and started searching for the alleged rapist.

The family of a teenage boy, who was found dead in Chowk Steel Bagh area after remaining missing for five days, alleged on Sunday that he was murdered after being sexually assaulted.
The family protested against the killing by placing the body on Ferozepur Road.
According to the police report, the 15-year-old son of Mustafa, a resident of Pirwala, Kasur, went to a poultry farm in Raukhanwala area for work.
Reportedly, five days had passed and the boy had not returned home. On Friday, the boy’s parents got a call that their son had committed suicide by hanging himself in a room.
