For decades, Texas has railed against anything having to do the U.S government and the other 49 states. Its governor, senators (especially Ted Cruz), and representatives have portrayed Texas as a stand-alone government, unhampered by the feds, and disavowing the legally, fair and constitutional election of Joe Biden. Their independence extends to designing and maintaining their own power grid and at one time, threatening to succeed from the Union.
