Deer processors across Mississippi see increase in business during the pandemic
A deer processing store in Oktibbeha County saw their sales double this season.

(WTVA) - Wilson s Deer Processing sits about five miles outside of Pheba, attracting crowds from throughout northeast Mississippi.
Wilson s owner, Christi Wilson said she saw business double during the pandemic.
“We peaked the first week of December and it never stopped,” she said.
Wilson and her husband have owned the processing store for 10 years.
She said this year s deer season is unlike anything she has seen before, as customers continued to flow into her store late after the holiday season.
