Theyll be having a moment of silence at tonights Football Game to honor his sacrifice. Before Us Army Staff sgt. Matthew thompson was a bronze star medal winner, before he was a special forces medical sergeant, and before he even enlisted in the us army, he was a muchlo marquette university. i cant think of anyone that was as committed to living the best version of their life possible, every day. He was a remarkable human being and he will never be replaced. the university tells us thompson attended the school from the fall of 2006 until the spring of 2008.
