There s been a run on the free pizza and scavenger hunt ornaments.

A whole heck of a lot of takers, as it turns out.
Conservation and outdoor recreation group River Keepers set the ornament challenge scavenger hunt from this past Saturday all the way through until May first.
The best hunters were allowed to keep their ornament, and they’d get rewarded with a free large Papa John’s pizza.
Whether it was the nice Saturday weather, the itch to get outdoors and stretch their legs after a long winter, or the siren song of carbs and cheese, every ornament was gone by Monday.

Energy Sector Assisting Texas Relief Efforts Following February Freeze
Following the devastating winter storm Uri last month that left millions of Texans without electricity for days and billions in damages, utilities and oil and gas producers, along with other industries, have stepped up to assist with relief efforts.
The damage and economic losses from the winter storms in February could reach $155 billion across the country. Damages in Texas alone have been estimated at $50 billion-plus. In reaction, energy companies with operations in Texas have donated millions.
Houston-based
Reliant Energy is donating $50,000 to the Houston branch of Rebuilding Together, a nonprofit focused on repairing homes, to direct support to at-risk seniors and military veteran homeowners to repair weather damage.

GWINN, MI – Elizabeth M. “Liz” Zenti, 77, of Gwinn, passed away Wednesday morning, February 17, 2021 at Trillium Houseafter a short illness in the presence of her loving family and under the care of Lake Superior Life Care and Hospice.
Liz was born on April 17, 1943 in Escanaba, Michigan, the daughter of the late Walter and Marion (Miller) Olson. She was a 1961 graduate of Escanaba Holy Name High School and graduated from Northern Michigan University in 1965 with a degree in Elementary Education. Later in her career, she received a Master’s Degree in Education from NMU.
On October 14, 1967, Liz married Peter J. Zenti at All Saints Catholic Church in Gladstone. Liz first met Peter on the “Cliffs Ridge” ski hill in Marquette while they were both teaching in the Gwinn School system. They settled in Gwinn where they built a beautiful home, raised their two daughters, and enjoyed nearly 40 years of marriage together. While the girls were growing up, the
