That’s a common story across the country, and Stamford is no exception. About 55 percent of Asian students and 41 percent of white students in Stamford high schools Westhill High School, Stamford High School and the Academy of Information Technology and Engineering are enrolled in at least one AP, Early College Experience or International Baccalaureate course this year.

(KMBC) â Sheriffâs deputies in Kansas were worried about a woman who walked several miles on the highway every day to get to work. So, one of them decided to do something about it. Daily calls to the Franklin County Sheriffâs Office about a woman walking down the highway were particularly concerning to deputies because of the nearly freezing temperatures outside. âWe got called out there just to check welfare to make sure she was OK,â Deputy Evan Macklin said.
