Navy Special Warfare Operator 1st Class Christopher J. Chambers and Navy Special Warfare Operator 2nd Class Nathan Gage Ingram went missing this month.

Navy Special Warfare Operator 2nd Class Nathan Gage Ingram was identified as one of two Navy SEALS missing since January 11.

According to officials, two U.S. Navy SEALs were lost to the sea while boarding an illicit ship allegedly smuggling Iranian weapons. One was a Maryland native.

Christopher Chambers and Nathan Gage Ingram were the Navy SEALs who went missing in rough seas during a nighttime ship-boarding mission in the Arabian Sea, the service said.

The U.S. Navy on Monday identified two SEALs who went missing earlier this month in waters off the coast of Somalia during a mission that resulted in the seizure of a ship transporting weapons from Iran to the Houthis.

The two men have been identified as Navy Special Warfare Operator 1st Class Christopher Chambers and Navy Special Warfare Operator 2nd Class Nathan Gage Ingram

Nathan Gage Ingram, from Roanoke, slipped while trying to board a ship carrying Iranian-made weapons.
