Retailers unimpressed by Kona's new D2C program
BELLINGHAM, Wash. (BRAIN)— Kona USA, facing the same excess inventory and stagnant consumer demand challenges as most other IBD brands, rebuilt its website in early June to add consumer-direct sales for the first time. While most traditional IBD brands now offer some variety of direct sales and click-and-collect few have received such a negative initial response from retailers.
