A defense motion for a bail reduction or third-party release for a John Day man charged for the sexual abuse of a minor was denied by the judge at a pre-trial release hearing held Feb. 16 at Grant County circuit court.
Christopher Lee Gibson, 45, of John Day, was arrested and arraigned on a 30-count indictment in Grant County Circuit Court in early November. He is being held at Grant County jail with bail set at $100,000.
Gibson is accused of having engaged in sexual conduct with a male minor, having filmed and photographed that conduct, and having disseminated those photos and recordings.
