ELKINS Christopher Waybright, 29, has been charged with trespassing and obstructing an officer after an incident Sunday afternoon.
He is being held in Tygart Valley Regional Jail awaiting his arraignment on a $2,000 10% cash bond.
According to the criminal complaint, the Randolph County Sheriff’s office responded to a call from the Go-Mart store on the Beverly Pike Five-lane and was told a male subject, wearing a green shirt and blue jeans, had been sleeping on the sidewalk of the store.
Once on the scene, Cpl. D.D. Pennington and Deputy T.J. Knotts of the RCSD observed the described male near the rear of the parking lot gyrating on an electrical box. He was also flailing his arms and feet around and appeared to be under the influence of a narcotic, the police report states.
