As
GM Authority has covered in the past, many of the assist steps offered on 2021 Chevy Silverado and 2021 GMC Sierra pickup trucks are currently unavailable to order due to supplier constraints. Now, however, General Motors expects the assist steps will once again be available in the near future.
According to sources familiar with the matter, the assist steps offered on the 2021 Chevy Silverado and 2021 GMC Sierra will once again be available around the late-April / early-May time period.
Currently, the assist steps with impacted availability include (relevant RPO codes listed in parentheses):
Black Tubular Assist Steps, six-inch rectangular (RVQ)
Black Tubular Assist Steps, four-inch round (RVS)
