Galesburg has a decent chance of receiving at least 2 inches of snow the next few days, according to the National Weather Service.

Springfield is getting more snow, with accumulation expected to start Thursday morning or early afternoon.

The National Weather Service office in Lincoln reported Galesburg had received 6 inches of snow as of 7 a.m. Thursday.

Its not over yet.

And the frigid temperatures that followed will ease by Monday afternoon.
