James Donaldson, WSU alum and NBA All-Star, started writing a book last year that focused on his mental health journey. Donaldson played for the Seattle SuperSonics, the San Diego/Los Angeles Clippers, Dallas Mavericks and the New York Knicks after graduating from WSU in 1979. One of the drivers involved in the fatal three-car accident on Asheville Highway has been charged.  Trent Matthew Neal, 21, of Campobello, was charged with felony DUI with death. He is being held at Spartanburg County Detention Center.
