Searchers are looking for a missing kayaker in the San Francisco bay. Crews have found his kayak, but no sign of him. He was reported missing just before 6 00 last night. Bonnie is making sure her car is locked, and nothing valuable is inside. She knows. Shes been a victim of car burglaries. We had our cars tossed twice now that weve lived here. Reporter they sent out these letters warning people that burglars hit several cars and even stole one. Its a growing trend which includes the trivalley area. Especially if youre targeting apartment complexes and neighborhoods that run right along the freeway, its perfect. Reporter just this week, burglars broke into three utility trucks in the area. The storage boxes that lined the back of the truck beds were targeted for miscellaneous hand tools. Two of them belonged to pg e. One of them was an el va torr company.
