【大纪元2021年07月11日讯】（大纪元记者陈俊村报导）英国谢菲尔德（Sheffield）一座拥有800多年历史的教堂表示，他们最近收到一本从其图书馆借阅的书籍，但逾期时间已经超过300年。尽管该图书馆早就不存在了，但这座教堂仍将这本书的回归视为喜事一件。
据《谢菲尔德星报》（Sheffield Star）报导，谢菲尔德大教堂（Sheffield Cathedral）的副主教法罗（Canon Keith Farrow）指出，该教堂日前收到一个包裹，里面有一本名为《英国人的教堂信仰与实践》（The Faith and Practice of a Church of England Man）的书籍，以及一张用以解释其来源的纸条。
《英国人的教堂信仰与实践》在1688年首次发行，而这一本是1704年发行的版本。
