Only tell a difference from the jetliner to the satellite, not location, not even northern or southern hemisphere. from it is last ping experts were able to plot position points and a spot where the jet would have run out of fuel. connect the dots, because the earth is round, you get two arcs. the jetliner could be anywhere along here. most likely on this southern track. in fact, two sources tell us the plane most likely went down in this south indian ocean far west of australia. still malaysian...

Get to the circuit breakers and to interrupt the power. >> so i have to tell you, fred rhee kashgs i talked to another expert shortly after that who said i actually dont think its possible to interfere with those data boxes. but another thing about it is that the noise that these data boxes emit so that you can find them in cases such as this have about a 30-day life span. so times awasting as they say. were eight days into this. so thats what a lot of the -- obviously theyre looking for plane w...

But it is possible during flight to get to the circuit breakers and interrupt the power. >> how long, what is the time span for finding those? >> well, if its in the water, in the ocean, the signaling device thats located on the unit has about a 30-day battery. so its going to ping -- i hate to use that word because its been so misused recently. but it emits a sound that can be heard quite a distance in the water. but it only lasts for 30 days. >> one of the things that were learning now is -- a...

Circuit breakers for that equipment disabled the equipment. so it -- but its implausible that the pilots did this. from the standpoint of somebody -- if you notice the time between the circuit breakers being pulled, if it were circuit breakers and the transponder going off is a few minutes. thats the few minutes that someone has to look at the overhead panel, find the line that the circuit breakers were on, identify it and read it with the dark, the printing is very small. and pull those circuit...

All the circuit breakers are for all of the equipment that weve been talk about thats turned off and even more could be turned off from down there. so thats the access. thats how this -- finally have an answer in my head as to why and how this could have occurred. why it occurred i dont know but i canhoqrรฑ tell you how. >> mark wise, thats a riveting new piece of information which i havent heard before. and it also opens up the possibility that although the finger of suspicion this plane has be...

Indicate, again, the timeliness of malaysia giving us this information, but its interesting to me that theres one other way you could turn off this equipment and thats by pulling circuit breakers in the cockpit which would require some knowledge of the aircraft, or at least a list of where the circuit breaker identifier lines were to get at them and one would have to know how to do that. thats a very troubling thing that there was this delay. it would tell me that somebody was at, turning this e...

Than normal duties and actions. they are going to look for those characteristics that might shed light on why someone could do this, take over the aircraft and do something to kill not only himself, but those folks on board. >> greg, these communication systems, specifically the transponder and data flow systems, how complicated is it to turn them off? >> its very easy to turn them off. you never have to leave the seat in the cockpit. a lot of people have made a big deal about the acar system. y...

Pulling circuit breakers if thats what occurred, thats a different matter. turning off a transponder is not a difficult thing to do either. but, yes, you would have to have some level of experience or training or have done some study before you walk in the cockpit and make any changes on an airline. >> the malaysian prime minister said the plane flu for seven hours after the last communications. they said one possible direction is that it could have gone towards kazakhstan or iran or afghanistan...

And was trained on the airplane, and knew what they were doing. now, i think that there was probably more than just one or two people. i think there was three or so, because you had to have one person that had knowledge, that knew how to turn off or make sure that the transponders were turned off, knew how to go down in the compartment and find those circuit breakers and turn that other stuff off. this wasnt just one person hijacking an airplane or two people. i think this was something thought ...

Out. now with my experience in doing investigations with what ive experienced in the past, what surprises me at this point is the thought that lets say it did come over. what i kept questioning is, how did they get into the cockpit? if this is true how did they get into the cockpit? how did they take over the aircraft? how did they disable everything? ive got a simple answer for that. wall street even touched on it as well. theres access to the e and e equipment bay. in that e and e equipment ba...
