The 38-year-old was selected on a 4-3 vote over Dave Marquardt, the other finalist out of six candidates. Evan Balko was also nominated. An office and administrative specialist at Minnesota State University Moorhead, Nesemeier is an incredibly hardworking, incredibly driven individual who cares deeply about her community, said council member Deb White in nominating her for the position.
