New cases of COVID-19 continue to decline in Knox County. The Knox County Unified Command Tuesday released numbers for the week between Monday, October 11, through Sunday, October 17, announcing 114 new cases were reported. According to the Illinois Department of Public Health's online COVID dashboard, there have been 7,244 cases of the novel viral disease reported since the beginning of the pandemic and 169 deaths. The Knox County Health Department is holding several vaccination clinics this week and into next where all three of the approved vaccinations will be offered.
