Yesterday had a mixture of sun and clouds, highs near 80, a light se breeze, and so humidityt was the pick day of the week. Clouds increased overnight with a few showers popping up and lingering into early this morning, mainly south of milwaukee. Lows are in the mid to upper 60s with some patchy fog. Today is partly cloudy, warm and humid with highs in the lower 80s and a light se breeze. With lows in the upper 60s and high humidity. Dry incident free road ways, speeds are at or above posted. Light traffic so as you head out the door you may have some company on the roads but not much. Overnight closures are re opening in the next 5 to 10 minutes so keep in mind you may have to use an alternate route if you travel in a heavily constructed drive safely this morning. Our other big story this morning is sherman park Milwaukee County sheriff david clarke implemented a curfew, following two back to back nights of destruction in the sherman park neighborhood. Tensions still remain high in that area of the city, but this morning, a drastic improvement to what we saw over the weekend. Heres a better look at the area of milwaukee were talking about. The sherman park neighborhood is located near the Northwest Side of the city. The blocks of burleigh, chambers and sherman saw the most criminal activity on saturday and sunday. As we said earlier, sherman park is opening again this morning following its closer by sheriff clarke. Thats where we find our pete zervakis. You can see this orange fencing around sherman park. At 6 oclock this morning it will come down. Deputies put it up last night to close the park. Evening. Just 6 people arrested compared to more than 30 over the weekend. And no reports of
