A promoter who partnered with the Miami Dolphins on a complaint-ridden "fan cruise" wants the opportunity to try again and "make everything right" with the team and disgruntled fans. But there's a big hurdle: the Dolphins are suing him, saying he owes close to $1 million in sponsorship fees and cruise fares that the team had to cover at the last minute.

The promoter of a Miami Dolphins fan cruise failed to pay MSC Cruises for staterooms that fans had prepaid for and failed to pay players hundreds of thousands of dollars in promised sponsorship benefits and appearance fees, the team charged in a federal lawsuit filed Friday.
