Representative image Assessment of Class X students may pose danger to health of members of Result Committee, says plea in Delhi HC ANI | Updated: Jun 05, 2021 15:52 IST New Delhi [India], June 5 (ANI):A plea has been filed in the Delhi High Court on Saturday challenging CBSE notification on mode of assessment of Class X students apprehending that it poses a real danger to the health and well-being of the members of the Result Committee, other teachers and staff members. The plea was filed by NISA Education Regd through advocate Ravi Prakash Gupta. Advocate Gupta told a single judge bench of Justice Prateek Jalan, that on May 1 respondent-Central Board of Secondary Education issued notification with regard to the mode of assessment of Class X students, in view of the cancellation of the Class X board examinations in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Courtney M. Manninger, 27; Tonya M. Manninger, 42, and Scott A. Vilmer, 54, all of the same address on Stacey Drive in Granite City, were each charged May 26 with one count of unlawful possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine, all Class X felonies. The cases were presented by the Madison County Sheriff’s Department. According to court documents, on May 25 the three allegedly were found to be in possession of between 400-900 grams of methamphetamine, with intent to deliver.

Devin P. Brazier, 27, with a last known address of the 2300 block of LaSalle Drive, Alton, was charged May 24 with predatory criminal sexual assault of a child, a Class X felony; and, attempted predatory criminal sexual assault of a child, a Class 1 felony. The case was presented by the Alton Police Department. According to court documents, on May 20 Brazier sexually assaulted a child younger than 1 year old, and “committed a substantial step toward the commission of the offense of predatory criminal sexual assault of a child” against the infant.
