An Iowa City woman whose cellphone got several calls from known meth users while it was in the hands of police faces meth possession charges.
Police say 64-year-old Sarah Nash of Bittersweet Court was a passenger in a vehicle whose driver was found in possession of methamphetamine the afternoon of September 18
th. A subsequent search of the vehicle and Nash reportedly turned up nearly 12 grams of meth in her purse. Police say there were two small bags of meth wrapped up individually, with the rest in one bag. Nash also allegedly had a digital scale on her that had meth residue.
