After its Moorhead opening, Classic Touch ran into several rough patches, including complaints raised by neighbors concerning noise. Gunshots were also fired in the vicinity of the club in March.

Classic Touch opened in February at 1500 11th St. N., in Moorhead, in a building that has housed bars and taverns since the 1930s, most recently Jerry's Bar, which closed about five years ago.

The Moorhead Planning Commission recommended the city grant a conditional use permit for the nightclub, but some commissioners are not sure that will be enough.
