The Hopkins County Coroner's Office has identified the 13 people who died after a tornado swept through the small town.

Kentucky communities including Mayfield, Bremen and Bowling Green were still reeling Monday after devastating tornadoes tore through the commonwealth.

Beaumont police are investigating a Wednesday morning homicide. Police responded to the 4400 block of Magnolia and found the body of 53-year old Claude Mitchell in the road. He had been shot. Police are looking for the suspect who is described as a black man, approximately 5-10, with dreadlocks. Anyone with any information is asked to call Southeast Texas Crime Stoppers at 833-TIPS. He was born October 6th, 1951 in Lumberton, Mississippi to Major Coleman and Doris Mitchell. He enlisted in the U.S Army in 1972 and proudly served his country for 26 years.
