Book it: ?As alternative Irish festivals go, there’s nothing quite like TedFest, which will once again turn Inis Mór into Craggy Island from March 7-10. The annual celebration of the much-loved TV show Father Ted attracts a fun-loving crowd, with highlights including the Lovely Girls Competition, Blind Date with Eoin McLove (Patrick McDonnell), Mrs Doyle Lip Sync Showdown, Ted’s Got Talent, Matchmaking with Nellie and The Priests Dance Off. All accommodation on the island is now fully booked but there’s still space in the Tented Village. Tickets are priced at €188.50 and costume is encouraged. tedfest.org
