We had just passed by the bus waving pom poms and 15 minutes later we get a text from our son that the bus was hit by a projectile. Reporter the carmel district sent another bus, and they pulled in tonight with supporters here to welcome them. The bus hit had one of its emergency exit windows shattered, and one student suffered some glass cuts but is okay and did make the trip with the team. It was a scary moment for everyone. They heard a loud bang and glass flying around and didnt know what had happened. It was an all of the sudden type thing. We were just excited to get up here and have a great game and get out of the game safely, much less the bus ride.
