BELOIT West Branch graduates will have an in-person commencement this year.
Superintendent Micki Egli reported this week the graduation ceremony will be held at 2 p.m. June 6 at Clinton Heacock Stadium, with rain dates of 7 p.m. June 7 and 8.
Egli said the ceremony is scheduled for outdoors since capacity will be limited to 25 percent if held indoors. The district’s largest facility is the old gym, which will only accommodate 325 at 25 percent, Egli said. The administrative team did not want to limit graduates to one or two guests, she said.
Egli also said the administrative team chose the dates for the ceremony to avoid disrupting graduation parties Saturday or Sunday evening that weekend.
