Charity founder Pesh Kapasiawala said: “We re so proud and grateful to all our wonderful tireless volunteers who run the vital community surplus hubs, who organise the critical logistics of collecting and distributing food and clothes, very often during anti-social hours, who sort and stock take, who organise fundraising events including operating our charity shop, who write grant applications, who support with administration, PR, communications, website, social media and much more.”

The 3Food4U charity has seen the number of families using the non-judgmental and non-assessed service rise every week as word has spread. The hub has also been visited by Brentwood and Ongar MP Alex Burghart and North Weald councillor Jaymey McIvor.
