A PARISH councillor acted in a disrespectful manner by laughing at a county councillor during a parish council meeting last year, a code of conduct enquiry has found. Former Mylor parish councillor David Lansdowne resigned before the findings were released following complaints from three fellow parish councillors and the parish clerk as well as Cornwall councillor John Symons about Mr Lansdowne s behaviour. The first complaint stemmed from a meeting of Mylor Parish Council on August 18, last year when Mr Lansdowne was accused of acting in a rude and aggressive manner towards other councillors at the parish council. While it was not held that Mr Lansdowne had been rude or aggressive, the act of laughing was found to have breached the code.
