You’d be Well and truly Nuts to miss this one
Nuts Well is fancied in the Marsh Chase on day two of Aintree s Grand National meeting.

NUTS WELL looks a cracking bet in the Marsh Chase (3.25pm) on day two of Aintree’s Grand National meeting.
This 10-year-old might have reached the veteran stage of his career but he seems to be getting better with age.
He’s been in the form of his life this season. His Kelso defeat of Aye Right, who went on to chase home Grand National favourite Cloth Cap in the Ladbrokes Trophy, was a great start to the campaign.

CLAN DES OBEAUX made it third time lucky in the Betway Bowl Chase at Aintree with a superb performance.
It was also a red-letter day for Alex Ferguson and his fellow owners, after the same colours were earlier carried to victory in the two previous Grade Ones by Protektorat and Monmiral.

The Aintree Grand National festival gets under way on Thursday and I’m looking forward to it nearly as much as the Cheltenham Festival. After having a look through the cards for the three-day meeting I am confident I have found a few value bets.
The early market for the Doom Bar Anniversary 4-Y-O Juvenile Hurdle (2.20) looks all wrong to me. This has long been the plan for the striking Monmiral, but in my opinion he doesn’t deserve to be as short as he is.
He has the potential to be a star, but he still looks very raw and beating Nassalam – who has since finished a well-beaten tenth in the Boodles – probably doesn’t look as good form now as it did at the time.
Grand National 2021: Cloth Cap heads Aintree field as The Storyteller is withdrawn
By Frank KeoghBBC Sport
Cloth Cap is the favourite for Saturday s race
The Storyteller was the only withdrawal as the final field of 40 horses - headed by Cloth Cap - was named for the Grand National on Saturday.
It means Blaklion is the last horse to be guaranteed a run in the big race at Aintree.
Patrick Mullins will ride leading contender Burrows Saint for his trainer father Willie Mullins.
Stable jockey Paul Townend will miss the ride after suffering a foot injury.
Cloth Cap, trained by Jonjo O Neill, is the 4-1 favourite to give owner Trevor Hemmings a record fourth win in his green, yellow and white colours.
