St. Cloud Fire Marshal Mike Post says they’ve been able to rule out lightning but nothing else. Post said the building was undergoing some renovation. Battalion Chief Steve Richardson says they were able to keep the fire contained to the building where the fire is believed to have started. Firefighters were on the scene for some time working to make sure there were no hot spots. It’s not believed there were any injuries. The cause of the fire is not known yet. ST. CLOUD -- Fire crews were called to a fire at the St. Cloud Childrens Home overnight. Battalion Chief Steve Richardson says they were called to 1726 7th Avenue South just after 2:30 a.m. They were able to keep the fire contained to the one building of origin and it did not spread to the other buildings.
