Environment Minister Gopal Rai met with a team from IIT Kanpur on November 8 to discuss the implementation of the cloud seeding in the national capital.

The meeting will be attended by Delhis Finance and Revenue Minister Atishi, Health Minister Saurabh Bhardwaj, Transport Minister Kailash Gehlot, Social Welfare Minister Rajkumar Anand and Food and Supply Minister Imran Hussain. The meeting will be held at the Delhi Secretariat at 12:30 PM.

According to the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), the AQI in Anand Vihar at 432, in RK Puram at 453, in Punjabi Bagh at 444, and in ITO at 441.

Artificial rain, also known as cloud seeding, is a weather modification technique used to induce precipitation by enhancing the formation of raindrops in clouds.
