Στην πόλη Κράλιεβο της Σερβίας θα γίνει το Βαλκανικό πρωτάθλημα στίβου Κ18, στις 14 Αυγούστου.
Η Εθνική μας ομάδα αποτελείται από εννέα αθλητές και 11 αθλήτριες, που θα έχουν την ευκαιρία για μια κόμη δυνατή αγωνιστική εμφάνιση στο φινάλε μίας ακόμη δύσκολης και απαιτητικής, λόγω συνθηκών, σεζόν. Οι νεαροί αθλητές και αθλήτριες θα ταξιδέψουν για τη Σερβία στις 13 Αυγούστου και θα επιστρέψουν στις 15 του ίδιου μήνα. Ανάμεσά τους και αρκετοί «δικοί» μας αθλητές, όπως ο Αλέξανδρος-Διαμαντής Σκούρτης της Ολυμπιάδας, η Κατερίνα Λουκάτου της Παναχαϊκής, η Αναστασία Καρέλα της Ολυμπιάδας, η Μαρία-Ανθή Βυθούλκα του Πέλοπα και η Καλλιόπη Παπανδρεοπούλου του Κούρου.
Το οργανωτικό των αγώνων (πτήσεις, μετακινήσεις) θα γίνει γνωστό το επόμενο διάστημα.
