Manchester United on Monday renewed the soccer club's partnership with official kit supplier Adidas for 10 more years and a minimum cash guarantee of 900 million pounds ($1.16 billion). The new deal, ahead of the 2023/24 Premier League season starting next month, will continue the partnership until June 2035, the club said. Manchester United will return to the lucrative Champions League this year. Last month the 20-times English champions raised their annual forecast.
Sam Kerr is ready to go, and so the much-needed reinforcements appear to be arriving just in time for co-host Australia ahead of its must-win Women’s World Cup match against Canada. Kerr and Mary Fowler missed Australia’s upset 3-2 loss to Nigeria but are available for Monday's make-or-break Group B game against the Olympic champions. “I’m going to be there,” Kerr said Saturday. “I’m going to be ready.”

Right back C.J. Bott scored from a corner in the 17th minute, firing home a shot from long range which was deflected by Vietnam defender Thi Thu Thao Tran. Jacqui Hand scored just before halftime to give New Zealand a 2-0 lead, which endured throughout the second half.
