For the first time since 2016, Kansas Softball defeated No. 8 Texas, downing the Longhorns 9-3 in the opening game of a three-game Big 12 series Friday night at Red & Charline McCombs Field.
The Kansas Softball team will head to College Station, Texas to continue their non-conference play in the Texas A&M Tournament. The tournament starts on Friday and will conclude on Sunday. The Jayhawks will play a total of five games including two on Friday, two on Saturday and one on Sunday.
Kansas softball unveiled its full 2022 schedule on Wednesday, highlighted by a series of competitive non-conference tournaments before leading into Big 12 Conference play in March.
