MILLERSBURG The 16th Annual Holmes County Rails-to-Trails Benefit Auction is coming up June 12 at Harvest Ridge after a one-year hiatus due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The auction, which raises money for maintenance and development of the Holmes County Trail, begins at 9 a.m. and will include locally made furniture, quilts, plants, lawn mowers, tools, swingsets, and buggies. At 11:30 a.m., a 12 by 24 log cabin will be sold.
Holmes County Park District Board Member Mike McDowell is excited the event is back and thankful for the continued support from the community. The Holmes County Park District with its somewhat limited budget, there s is absolutely no way that we could complete and maintain and support this trail without the support of that coalition, McDowell said. They are a critical component. We could not do it on our own.
