Power management company Eaton announced it has completed the acquisition of Cobham Mission Systems. Cobham is a leading manufacturer of air-to-air refueling systems, environmental systems, and actuation, primarily for defense markets. The business has a workforce of approximately 2,000 people and manufacturing facilities in the United States and United Kingdom.

Power management company Eaton (NYSE: ETN) has completed the $2.83 billion acquisition of Cobham Mission Systems, a maker of air-to-air refueling and environmental systems, primarily for defense markets.
Cobham Mission Systems, based in Davenport, Iowa, has about 2,000 employees and manufacturing facilities in the United States and United Kingdom, Eaton said in a news release issued Tuesday morning, June 1.
When Eaton announced the deal on Feb. 1, it said the $2.83 billion purchase price included $130 million in tax benefits.
