The Longhorn and Horned Frogs men jumped back into the pool Saturday for some 50m timed trials the day after facing off in a more traditional dual meet.

The University of Texas men dominated the short course portion of a dual meet against TCU, led by Cameron Auchinachie and Caspar Corbeau.

One week after announcing his official move to Austin, Casas made his Longhorn debut at the Eddie Reese Invite, racing the 150 back/150 fly/50 free.

Less-heralded swimmers Caspar Corbeau, Danny Krueger, Cameron Auchinachie and Luke Hobson have elevated Texas in its pursuit of another title.

It was Cal freshman Gabriel Jett who rocketed off of the wall into the finish, busting out a 1:32.52 that makes him the 2nd-fastest man in the NCAA

The Longhorns had a strong showing in this morning's prelims, and they hold the top seeds in 6 of the 10 individual events that will be raced tonight.

Caspar Corbeau and Maggie MacNeil each swam the nation's top time in their respective events, while Carson Foster swam a 3:37 in the 400 IM.

The Texas men have thrown down the gauntlet early, but there's a ton of talent in the pool for the first full finals session of the 2021 Minnesota Invite.

The Texas Longhorns won all four relays to open up the Minnesota Invitational, with unheralded swimmers like freshman Luke Hobson excelling.
