It s "code blue" out there for those who are homeless, and the Rescue Mission of Utica is doing their part to make sure folks are safe and warm this winter.
The winter storm is behind us, but snow-fighting efforts are still underway. The City of Philadelphia Streets Department crews are now turning the focus on inaccessible streets that are small and narrow.
Keeping people warm and sheltered is a top priority for the city as temperatures are well below freezing. With a Code Blue in place, finding people on the streets and getting them indoors is a 24-hour effort.
