The US National Security Agency aims to attract students to cybersecurity in general and its own open positions in particular: 3,000 new jobs this year.

WILLIAMSBURG — The University of the Cumberlands School of Computer and Information Sciences fielded its inaugural student-faculty team to take on the National Security Agencys (NSA) Codebreaker Challenge 2021.

        Terra State Community College cybersecurity students completed the National Security Agency (NSA) Codebreaker Challenge for the second consecutive year, placing second nationally among community colleges and 28th overall out of 466 colleges and universities.

The Beacon   Terra State Community College cybersecurity students completed the annual National Security Agency (NSA) Codebreaker Challenge recently, finishing in 14th in the 452-school competition against many of the country’s major four-year universities. UNG wins NSA Codebreaker Challenge for second year in a row UNG scored 323,150 points to win the NSA Codebreaker Challenge, which wrapped up Jan. 31. Even with changes to the National Security Agency (NSA) Codebreaker Challenge in 2020, including a vastly expanded scope of tasks from previous years, the University of North Georgia (UNG) emerged victorious for the second year in a row.
