âAnyone that eats is welcome, no income requirements, no forms to fill out,â Sue Hilgedick, Rubyâs Pantry site leader of Cohasset said. âIf someone were driving by, and they wanted to get a share, they are welcome.â
Rubyâs Pantry in Cohasset started in July of 2011, and the next drive-thru event will be Tuesday, April 20, 2021, starting at about 2:30 p.m.Â
âHoping to be back in the parking lot of Our Reedemerâs Lutheran Church,â Hilgedick said, who has been the site leader for seven years this fall. âThe only month we had to cancel, was a year ago in March when the pandemic started. It happened so fast, and it happened the day before our scheduled delivery.âÂ
The March distribution of Rubyâs Pantry on Tuesday, March 16 will again be held at the Cohasset Community Center.Â
Guests will assemble in their vehicles in a single line in the Our Redeemer Church parking lot. After $20 per share (limit 2) is collected numbers will be assigned.
Vehicles will be directed to the Cohasset Community Center in groups of 15-20 at a time.
You will turn right at the 2nd stoplight at 2nd Ave W. and follow the road behind the Fire Hall. Please do not block entrances to parking lots or driveways. We will have signs out to help direct people. You will arrive on the east side of the Community Center to pick up shares. Shares will be ready and loaded directly in your vehicles.
