Captain james clark. I mean they knew she had a large amount of money in the house. They got in under the premise of cleaning her house. Once inside, they demanded her money. She had it hidden and they repeatedly beat her until she told them where it was at. It was really sad and very senseless murder. Reporter homicide investigators spent the day here at the crime scene looking for clues as neighbors learned of wilsons death. As homicide detectives began their work here at 1347 earl street in fishtown, word spread that 54yearold kathy wilson had been murdered. Shes a wonderful lady to get along with but i didnt know she was killed until just now. Reporter this morning a woman who is now in Police Custody showed up at the nearby Police District and told officers she thought wilson might be dead.
