Muscle Shoals police confirm a total of five vehicles, including a mobile home, were in the crash, and two people were med-flighted to Huntsville. From earlier: Update: Authorities said the crash actually happened on 2nd Street and Glendale Avenue. They said the location was originally believed to be Gusmus Avenue. 2nd Street is shut down in both lanes from Gusmus Avenue to Firestone Avenue.

According to our news partners at Times Daily, the Colbert County Emergency Management Agency issued a reminder on social media today that the health department is out of first doses until further notice. Second-dose vaccines remain available for those who have received their first dose, according to the reminder. The health department advises those who are scheduled for a second dose to keep that appointment.
